That is why I always found Psychology to be the closest scientific field with Design. The science of Design goes around the people and their behavior. Design alone is purely a work of art but when it comes along with reasons and a clear thought process behind it, it manifests itself as a part of science. It is a question of debate whether Design is an art or science. Although I am a computer science student I always found interest in observing people’s behavior and their whys and hows, and Psychology is the science of behavior. My journey in UX Design starts with Psychology. The article is about what I learned from the best seller book of Daniel Kahneman, “Thinking Fast and Slow”, as a UX Designer.
